My Therapeutic Approach
Our Work Together

At Starlit Path Therapy, I provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals ages 14 and up to reflect, heal, and grow. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel heard, supported, and understood.
Together, we work to identify patterns that no longer serve you, build emotional awareness, and create practical strategies for moving forward with clarity and self-compassion. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, perfectionism, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy is a place to reconnect with yourself and rediscover your path forward.
I value authenticity, creativity, and curiosity, and self-compassion, and I strive to create a space where these values are the foundation of our work together. I currently offer therapy sessions both in person and virtually for residents throughout Wisconsin.
Rooted in the Mind-Body Connection
I believe lasting healing happens when we care for both the mind and the body. Anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress are experienced not only through our thoughts but also through our nervous system. As we work together, you will learn to reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom and safety. This connection can help quiet the constant mental noise, deepen your awareness of yourself, and create a greater sense of presence, balance, and inner peace.
My approach to therapy is holistic and grounded in the principles of depth psychology. I believe healing involves more than reducing symptoms. It is about understanding the deeper emotional patterns, unconscious beliefs, and life experiences that shape the way you relate to yourself and the world around you. Through this process, we can foster greater self awareness, strengthen your connection to your authentic self, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I integrate Brainspotting and other body based therapeutic approaches to support the mind body connection and help process experiences that may not be fully accessible through words alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your inner world, reconnect with your body, and discover the resilience and wisdom that already exist within you. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to move through life with confidence, clarity, and self compassion.

An Individualized Approach to Therapy
I use a variety of different therapeutic techniques to best meet the needs of clients. I take a person-centered approach and tailor treatment to meet each unique client's goals.
Brainspotting Therapy
Brainspotting is a powerful therapy that helps you heal on a deeper level than talk therapy alone. It works by identifying eye positions that connect to where your brain and body store emotional pain, stress, or trauma.
Rather than just talking about your experiences, Brainspotting helps your nervous system release what’s been stuck — creating lasting relief from anxiety, overwhelm, or old patterns that keep you from feeling like yourself.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness helps you create more peace and steadiness in your life, even when circumstances feel difficult or overwhelming. It supports you in gently noticing your thoughts, emotions, and patterns as they arise, without getting caught up in them. Over time, this practice can increase awareness of old habits and reactions while also helping you feel more grounded, present, and calm in your everyday life.
Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy is an evidence-based approach used to reduce anxiety and OCD symptoms. It gently helps you face feared thoughts, feelings, or situations in a gradual and supported way, rather than avoiding them. Together, we create an exposure hierarchy, which is a step-by-step plan that starts where things feel manageable and builds over time at a pace that feels safe and doable for you.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a gentle, practical approach that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts, feelings, and sensations so they have less control over your life. Instead of trying to get rid of discomfort, ACT supports you in making space for it while staying connected to what matters most to you. Through this work, you build more flexibility, presence, and the ability to move toward a meaningful life even in the midst of challenge.
Internal Family Systems Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate approach that views the mind as made up of different “parts” of us, each carrying its own feelings, needs, and protective roles. Instead of trying to get rid of these parts, IFS helps you get to know them with curiosity and care. As you build a relationship with your inner world, you can create more understanding, self-compassion, and a deeper sense of inner harmony and wholeness.
Depth Psychology
Depth psychology is a way of understanding the mind that pays attention to the deeper layers of your inner world, including patterns, emotions, dreams, and experiences that may not be immediately conscious. It invites curiosity about what lies beneath surface symptoms or struggles, and how these parts of you may be asking for attention or meaning. Through this approach, you can develop greater self-understanding, connection to your inner life, and a more integrated sense of who you are.
